If you see a picture of Dermot Kennedy<\/strong>, you may think that he merely is a singer-songwriter who goes around the world attached to his guitar.<\/p>\n

But if you listen any songs from his namesake debut album, you will understand that he is much more than that: his Dubliner’s voice is able to melt ice, and the samples and electronic bases that surround his compositions take him closer to R’n’B and hip hop than to what we call folk.<\/p>\n
