Whether you enjoy them unintentionally or you’ve come just to see them, get ready to fall in love with Son Rompe Pera!<\/strong><\/p>\n This essential band from Naucalpan, Mexico<\/strong>, has defined the genre of \u201ccumbia punk\u201d and captivated thousands of fans around the world with their unique sound and live performances full of percussion and energy. Their second album, ‘Chimborazo’<\/strong>, shakes up their roots with tropical dances, psychedelic guitars, brass, and even some dub and hip-hop, and has led them to perform on the most important international stages, including La Merc\u00e8 in Barcelona<\/strong>, where they surprised us last September. It is a rebellious and irreverent album, where they question everything they knew about cumbia until then. It was recorded over seven days in Colombia<\/strong>, the birthplace of this genre, giving way to a stage show that celebrates the legacy of cultures and connects corners and styles from around the world.
