{"id":15739,"date":"2018-06-18T12:11:45","date_gmt":"2018-06-18T10:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cruillabarcelona.cat\/?page_id=15739"},"modified":"2019-02-05T13:42:29","modified_gmt":"2019-02-05T11:42:29","slug":"bio-cup","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cruillabarcelona.cat\/en\/bio-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Looks like plastic but it&#8217;s not, meet the bio-cup!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>The first big festival with 100% biodegradable cups<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Waste<\/strong> is a major issue in any festival, specially plastic waste related to the huge amount of plastic cups that we use.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to reduce the environmental impact of our festival, that&#8217;s why we are proud to announce that <strong>every single cup you will find in Cru\u00eflla will be a 100% biodegradable!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bio-cup, <strong>developed by Estrella Damm<\/strong>, is a container that <strong>looks just like a traditional cup<\/strong>: it even bends like plastic, but it&#8217;s not plastic!<\/p>\n<p>It is produced with polylactic acid, a material derived from <strong>vegetal raw materials<\/strong>. Our cup was made with <strong>corn plant <\/strong>and other vegetal materials, and this is why you will be able to <strong>dispose your cup in the organic waste bin<\/strong> after using it.<\/p>\n<p>If you have allergies to wheat or any other material, you don&#8217;t need to worry!
