Festival Cru\u00eflla is more than music. It\u2019s an experience with art, gastronomy, fashion, technology, wellbeing<\/strong> and a social and environmental commitment<\/strong> that means that everything makes sense.<\/p>\n

You already know which concerts you\u2019ll find at the festival. Now, you can discover the whole experience.<\/p>\n

Art all around<\/h2>\n

Cru\u00eflla is much more than music, Cru\u00eflla is art<\/a>!<\/p>\n

One of the great stars of Cru\u00eflla each year is the Estrella Damm stage, designed by Llu\u00eds Dan\u00e9s<\/strong>. For another year, we can enjoy Dan\u00e9s’ talent and handicraft, used to build a gigantic installation with an under the sea theme.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, we\u2019ll have the show Dreams<\/em> from the legendary company La Fura dels Baus<\/a>, and the popular fire and music festival Aquelarre de Cervera<\/a>. The performance arts will be rounded off with dance, aerial dance and theatre shows<\/strong> that you\u2019ll find as you wander around the festival.<\/p>\n

Everyone can eat well<\/h2>\n

At the festival, you\u2019ll find a series of food trucks<\/strong> coordinated by White Summer, with a wide range of cuisines.<\/p>\n

This year, we wanted to have a bigger and better range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food<\/strong>. Plus, we wanted this to be easy to find.<\/p>\n

As a new addition to this year\u2019s festival, you\u2019ll also be able to find quality coffee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

Technology, make it easy for me<\/h2>\n

We\u2019re continuing to use the cashless wristband<\/strong> system, a payment method that prevents queues and increases security. You simply charge your wristband from home, using the app or at the festival ticket booths, and pay for what you wish to consume. Afterwards, whatever you haven\u2019t spent will be automatically returned without commission<\/strong>. You can find out more about your wristband and charge it HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From 12 June, the Cru\u00eflla App<\/strong> will be available with all the relevant timetables and information. A new addition this year<\/strong> is that the application will include a virtual reality game<\/strong>. Do you remember Pok\u00e9mon? Now, you will need to find Gaud\u00ed dragons hidden around the festival!<\/p>\n

Other new technological facilities at Cru\u00eflla 2018 are the areas with free Wi-Fi<\/strong> and mobile phone charging areas<\/strong>, as well as a gaming area<\/strong> which will amaze you.<\/p>\n

\n

We\u2019re fashion forward<\/h2>\n

The White Summer festival will coordinate two fashion<\/strong> areas: the Lifestyle area<\/strong>, where you\u2019ll find brands that identify with a specific lifestyle, and the Market area<\/strong>, where you\u2019ll find more artisanal, local and fair-trade products. What\u2019s more, this year we\u2019re introducing the festival\u2019s own merchandise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So you don\u2019t have to carry your purchases around the festival, there will be a home delivery service<\/strong>. Easy and cheap.<\/p>\n

\n

Let\u2019s take care of ourselves!<\/h2>\n

For another year, we\u2019ll have a space designed for massages and beauty<\/strong> thanks to the professionals from Treatwell.<\/p>\n

Plus, this year, the attendees who stay until 3 am will receive a refreshing pack with juice and fruit. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Social responsibility<\/h2>\n

This isn\u2019t just another part of the festival, but a section in itself that means that everything we\u2019ve announced makes sense.<\/em><\/p>\n

This year, Cru\u00eflla is working with Obra Social Sant Joan de D\u00e9u. When you purchase your ticket to Cru\u00eflla, you have the opportunity to make a donation to Obra Social Sant Joan de D\u00e9u music therapy programmes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The social commitment continues with other measures we want to put in place so that families come to the festival. That\u2019s why children under 15 (inclusive)<\/strong> enter for free<\/strong>. As a new addition for this year, we also have a Kids Area for the youngest attendees. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget that we also offer a series of discounts for groups, such as discounts for unemployed people<\/strong> or for those accompanying people with reduced mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another part of our social commitment is our support of Barcelona City Council\u2019s No Callem protocol<\/strong>, designed to detect and deal with any incidence of violence against women<\/strong>. Our staff will receive the necessary training and we will have a designated point for information and assistance.<\/p>\n

Environmental responsibility<\/h2>\n

This isn\u2019t just another part of the festival, but a section in itself that means that everything we\u2019ve announced makes sense.<\/em><\/p>\n

We want to highlight our most innovative and most exciting environmental proposal. Festival Cru\u00eflla will be the first big festival in Spain and one of the few in the world that will use 100% biodegradable cups.<\/strong> We\u2019re working to reduce plastic to a minimum within the festival and we\u2019re setting off an environmental trend that\u2019s just beginning. Halfway between our commitment to society and to the environment is mobility<\/strong>. We\u2019ve made an agreement with TRAM to extend the tram service<\/strong> to limit the need to bring the car. On Thursday until 2 am and on Friday and Saturday, all night.<\/p>\n

To help you go back home, you’ll also find shuttle buses<\/strong> from the festival to Pla\u00e7a de Catalunya. These buses will operate from 11PM to 01:15AM on Thursday, July 12th and from 01AM to 05AM on Friday and Saturday. Every 20 minutes.<\/p>\n
