Rata at Festival Cruïlla 2026!
You know when they tell you that if you like two ingredients separately, you’re sure to like them together? The truth is that this doesn’t always work in the kitchen, but in music it’s often a guarantee of success. At least, that’s what has happened with RATA, the project by Daniel Sabater and Felix Esteban, who will step onto the Festival Cruïlla stage for the very first time next Friday, July 10th!
They have only just come out of their den: they released their first single, “TUS MIERDAS“, in January 2025, and their debut EP, ‘NIÑATO‘, arrived on May 2 of the same year. After having worked together in the past but on an individual basis with their own projects, Daniel Sabater, who already had nearly 100,000 monthly listeners, and Felix Esteban, producer for Sabater and other big names such as Walls, have come together in RATA, an irreverent and disruptive proposal that leans towards indie rock and looks to Royal Blood for inspiration with its drum-and-bass lineup. Their first work together shows their interest in experimentation, and what we have already been able to hear from what will be their debut album, the song “BORRACHO“, allows us to imagine what the concert of this great promise of the Murcian scene will sound like at the Cruïlla Festival 2026.
