DANCE RETURNS TO CRUÏLLA 2026: WE NEVER STAND STILL AT HOME!
Dance has always been part of the Cruïlla spirit. From the spontaneous choreographies that emerge among the audience to the performances that, edition after edition, turn the Fòrum into one huge dance floor. That’s why, once again, we’re bringing rhythm back to the Bonpreu Stage, our dedicated space for dance and comedy.
Because dancing is much more than movement: it’s a way to express yourself, build community, release tension and connect with joy. It’s health, it’s art and, above all, it’s pure vitality.
This year, we have put together a programme that is as diverse as it is vibrant, featuring some of the best dance companies and professional groups of the moment. A blend of styles designed for all audiences, where urban dance, freestyle battles, improvisation and swing come together in a single space.
Perfomances
From the energy of urban dance and the freedom of contemporary expression to local talent, featuring some of the finest homegrown performances.
Battles
Live battles where the dance floor becomes a head-to-head showdown between dancers. Adrenaline and creativity will be pushed to the limit in the Crew vs Crew Battles led by Dothis Crew, Locure, Streetlife and THE ROOTZ—a showcase of collective strength, connection and teamwork set to the beats of DJ Amir and Jordi Benito.
Audiences will also experience the All Styles Battle, a competition celebrating a wide range of dance disciplines; the OYOFE Battle, which promotes African urban dance and honours its roots; the Experimental Battle, an open space for improvisation, musical connection and freedom of movement; and Barcelona Lindy Hoppers, who will turn the festival into a swing dance floor open to everyone.
