This year marks ten years since the release of Halsey’s iconic debut album, ‘Badlands‘. Released in 2015, the album marked a key moment for alternative pop, blending industrial beats, confessional lyrics and powerful melodies that connected with a new generation of fans. That’s why it remains a relevant work today for its themes of dissociation, rebellion and emotional turbulence, with more than 7.5 billion streams. Now, Halsey—GRAMMY® nominee and acclaimed for her genre-blending style—has amassed over 50 billion global streams, four RIAA-certified albums and five albums released, including the recent ‘The Great Impersonator‘, and is ready to begin a new chapter by working on new music, while continuing to deliver major hits such as “Colors”, “Without Me” and “Bad At Love”.
Halsey has often recalled that one of the first concerts that truly impacted her was in Barcelona, and that while walking alone through the city, she fell in love with its mix of artistic intensity, nightlife and melancholy, as well as the energy of the Catalan audience.
