From 1966, when he started playing bass in the band Bestije, to his legendary soundtrack for ‘Time of the Gypsies‘ by Kusturica, Bregović has been the architect of a sound that transcends cultures and borders, a true sonic journey.
With his electrifying live performances, he seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, creating an unmistakable fusion: passionate Bulgarian voices, powerful brass fanfares that call for joy, and the frantic beat of a bass drum leading an unstoppable celebration.
