CRUÏLLA ARTS: CULTURE, SPARK AND CREATIVITY
Cruïlla Festival has always aimed to be a reflection of the most creative, diverse, and effervescent Barcelona. That is why art is not just an addition; it is an experience that inhabits every corner of the festival and gives a voice to local talent. From visual arts to volumetric interventions, passing through popular culture and urban art, we turn Cruïlla into a space where everything coexists.
This 2026, under the concept “Cruïlla is home”, the arts programming celebrates the city, coexistence, and the creativity that comes alive when we meet. We will do this through three main pillars: The Shared City, featuring large installations throughout the venue; The Square, as a space for gathering and celebration; and an Expanded Urban Art that will fill the festival with live interventions.

Urban Art by YAMAHA
Urban Art shifts into higher gear hand in hand with YAMAHA. A collaboration where emerging and established art come together to fuse music, movement and expression into a unique artistic journey.
Scenography
As part of Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026, we join forces with Concéntrico to create structures that engage in dialogue with music and audiences.

Installations
This year, the festival’s art transforms to explore a single concept: home. We’re redefining the venue to turn it into a shared space, full of corners that speak of neighbourhood, community and shared life. Disconnect from the stages, step inside and make the city your own.
Artistic Interventions
Cruïlla transforms into a large open-air gallery. Together with Poblenou Urban District and Festival Gargar, the festival once again fills with urban art and large-scale murals, offering the chance to experience the creative process live.

Popular culture
Once again, Cruïlla brings the spirit of the square and street culture into the festival. This edition, the celebration grows with some very special guests: the Giants. Because popular culture is also living performance, shared rhythm, and collective emotion.
