Sustainability
Circular by principle, regenerative by conviction!
At Cruïlla, we believe that music and culture only make sense when they care for the world around them. That is why sustainability and environmental responsibility are not just labels for us—they are part of our DNA. We aim to be pioneers of a festival model designed for local communities, committed to the territory, its people and innovation. It is not only about reducing our impact, but also about creating shared value, strengthening community ties and inspiring change from the planning stage through to the festival’s dismantling.
This year, we are reinforcing all the actions included in our Sustainability Plan to reduce our carbon footprint and waste generation, focusing on three key areas:
🔄 Advancing the circular economy within the festival
💙 Reducing emissions and environmental impact
🤝 Promoting a fairer, more accessible and socially responsible culture

100% RENEWABLE ENERGY
For the fourth consecutive year, we have eliminated the use of diesel generators at the festival. Thanks to our collaboration with Endesa, the entire festival is powered exclusively by renewable electricity supplied through the Parc del Fòrum grid.

WATER
We provide free drinking water stations for attendees, staff and suppliers, clearly marked on the festival map. In addition, with the support of Endesa, we provide production teams, staff and artists with recycled aluminium water bottles, helping to eliminate single-use plastic bottles.

NOISE IMPACT
We are committed to reducing our acoustic impact. To help protect the hearing health of festivalgoers, especially younger attendees, Endesa provides hearing protection available to anyone who needs it.

REUSE AND WASTE REDUCTION
Once again, we are reducing single-use plastics through reusable cups and food containers. You can purchase your reusable cup for €2 and return it at Endesa’s fixed and mobile collection points. You will also find their Green Team across the festival grounds, helping to raise environmental awareness among attendees.

GASTRONOMY
We know that sustainability also extends to food. This year, we offer a diverse range of food options adapted to different dietary needs, including locally sourced vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives.

INTERNAL MOBILITY
At Cruïlla Festival, we are committed to green and sustainable internal transportation, using environmentally friendly mobility solutions such as electric bicycles.
