ARTISTIC INTERVENTIONS
Cruïlla became an open-air gallery. We filled the festival with urban art and large-scale murals, allowing you to experience the creative process live.
Alberto León
Alberto León connected his urban art with the festival experience, bringing performers onto the wall and merging painting, the street and live performance. A paste-up artist, he created interventions rooted in the language of expanded urban art, integrating painting, volume and spatial presence. Thanks to La Plataforma gallery, this year we were able to enjoy its work at Festival Cruïlla 2026.
WAC (Windows Art Circuit)
The Windows Art Circuit (WAC), promoted by Poblenou Urban District, is an annual programme that allows the public to experience the process of creating mural and visual art live in unconventional spaces. The artists selected for this edition of Festival Cruïlla were KST, Plain Jein and Vale Wilson, who created a collective 36-metre mural.
GarGar
The GarGar Mural and Rural Art Festival in Penelles promotes community engagement, the revitalisation of the local area, and the creation of a shared cultural identity. It took part in Festival Cruïlla with Werens’ socially engaged graffiti and Irene López León’s fusion of figurative and abstract art.
